Tutorial: how to benefit from the €500 digital voucher?

The France Num voucher: helping businesses digitize

Let's take a look at how to apply for a digital cheque, but before we do, a few quick reminders about company eligibility criteria, which expenses are reimbursable, etc...

Which companies are eligible?

Companies (including VSEs) with fewer than 11 employees and annual sales of less than €2 million excluding VAT.

Expenses eligible for the 500€ France Num voucher

  • Expenses related to the purchase of or subscription to digital solutions from a digital services company established in France or within an EU member state, and must fall within one of the following themes :
    • Sales, promotion - E-commerce or promotional site
    • Sales, promotion - Content
    • Sales, promotions - Online payment
    • Sales, promotion - Market place
    • Sales, promotion - Internet visibility
    • Management - Booking solutions, appointment scheduling
    • Management - Inventory, order and delivery management
    • Management - Cash register software
    • Management - Hosting, data storage, domain name management, cybersecurity tools
    • Customer relations - Customer management
    • Customer relations - Bulk e-mail and newsletter management tool

What supporting documents do I need to provide?

  • One or more invoices dated between October 30, 2020 and June 30, 2021* for a minimum total amount of €450 incl. VAT. (*before July 31, 2021 for invoices dated on or after January 28, 2021).
  • A piece of identification

When will the €500 digitization grant be paid out?

The aid will be paid from February 26, 2021.

How do I apply for a €500 digital cheque?

STEP 1:

Visit the website cheque.francenum.gouv.fr

STEP 2:

At the bottom of the page, click on "Enter and send your request".

STEP 3: Prerequisites.

Enter your SIRET, your cell phone number and your email address. Tick the General Terms of Use box, then click on the "Begin entry" button.

STEP 4: Beneficiary.

The system will then detect your company based on the declared SIRET. Check the information and enter thenumber of employees and annual sales. Check the box to indicate whether or not you are registered in the Trade Register. Please note: your company must be registered in one or other of these registers to qualify. Finally, fill in the legal representative information form.

STEP 5: Enter your request.
  • Select the type of expense from the drop-down list, the invoice date (must be between 30/10/2020 and 30/06/2021) and the amount. You can add multiple invoices by clicking on the green "+" on the right.

OR

  • If you have worked with a supplier who has been referenced for digital transformation support, you can also indicate this by following the same process as above.

Then simplyupload the correspondinginvoice(s) via the dedicated field. All you have to do is tick all the boxes on the declaration of honour and click on the "Next" button.

STEP 6: Bank details.

Indicate here the account holder,IBAN and BIC so that the aid can be paid into this bank account.

STEP 7: Declarant identity.

Fill in the form concerning theidentity of the declarant. In addition to the company's legal representative, a third party (e.g. a chartered accountant) can also make the request. Fill in all the required details and upload your proof of identity. Then click on "Next".

STEP 8: Summary.

This takes you to the summary page of your application. Make sure you haven't made any mistakes, or if you have, correct them.

Check the validation boxes at the bottom of the page and click on "Send"!

Finally, you will receive an authentication code by SMS to definitively validate your request. Your request has now been sent and is being processed!
